Senior leadership
Michael Wang
Michael leads Beacon's mission to make world-class university education accessible to working professionals across Asia. He graduated with first-class honors from Tsinghua University and earned a master's degree in engineering from Harvard University.
Before Beacon, Michael worked in investment banking at Goldman Sachs and joined Primavera Capital at its inception, where he worked on significant investments in education, technology and financial services. He has served on the boards of several education and technology companies.
Charlie Iannuzzi
Charlie leads Beacon's global university partnerships, working with institutions in the United States and around the world to develop and manage programs. He brings more than a decade of experience in international education.
After graduating from Duke University, Charlie has worked in international education for the past two decades, from the Marshall Islands with WorldTeach, in India with the American India Foundation, building international schools and systems with an international school in Asia, The Hotchkiss School, and Whittle School & Studios.
Annie Ma
Annie leads Beacon's operations across its markets, building the systems and teams that support students and partner universities from enrollment through graduation.
A graduate of the University of Western Ontario in finance and management, Annie brings extensive experience in management consulting and corporate operations, having worked with multinational organizations including BMW Group, Temasek, Moody's, Takeda Pharmaceuticals, Towers Watson and Ernst & Young.
